Andy has worked for very large and very small companies in consumer products and capital equipment. He was at Kimberly-Clark during the “Good to Great” era at Kimberly-Clark which was featured in the book “Good to Great” by Jim Collins. At Kimberly-Clark Andy held 13 positions including Engineering, Maintenance Management, Engineering Management, Career Development and Recruiting as well as Organizational Evaluation and Design. During his 30 years at Kimberly-Clark he led groups of up 220 people. After retiring from Kimberly-Clark Andy took a job with Asia Pulp and Paper in China. Living and working in China has given him a unique global perspective. Upon return to the US, Andy directed the engineering for Somarakis, a small manufacturer of the world's largest vacuum pumps located in the State of Washington. For Growth Solutions Consultants Andy leads the company and the client engagements with his GSC Heart Analyzer© as a guide. He enjoys building relationships and providing technical mentorship to engineers. His technical areas of expertise include machine design, tissue machines, process analysis using 6 sigma, vacuum pump and system design, warehouse layout and computerization, and problem solving. He holds a patent in generator rotor design. Andy graduated from the University of Wisconsin at Madison with a Mechanical Engineering Degree.
